Ty Reed, founder and instructor
Ty Reed is the Executive Director of Recovery Career Services and a statewide workforce development and reentry leader in Washington State. He brings lived experience with recovery and justice involvement alongside professional expertise in employment services, coaching, and program design. Ty currently works in state government supporting reentry and employment initiatives, and has spent years helping individuals rebuild their careers after significant life disruptions.
Ty’s work focuses on practical, person-centered strategies that help people tell their story with confidence, navigate employer expectations, and build sustainable employment. He is a sought-after trainer and speaker for courts, workforce organizations, employers, and community groups, known for his direct, supportive, and realistic approach.
Outside of work, Ty enjoys pickleball, karaoke, and staying active in his community.
Ramon cazarez, instructor
Ramon Cazarez is a Reentry Specialist and Peer Mentor with the State of Washington, working under the PROWD Grant. He supports individuals reentering the community by meeting them where they are and helping them navigate employment, housing, and essential resources. Ramon’s work is grounded in relationship-building, trust, and practical support.
Ramon is especially skilled at helping participants understand workplace expectations, strengthen communication, and develop the habits that support long-term success. His approach emphasizes accountability, consistency, and real-world problem-solving, with a focus on reducing recidivism and strengthening community connections.
Outside of work, Ramon enjoys working on cars, swimming, mountain biking, and playing pickleball, reflecting his commitment to maintaining a balanced and active lifestyle.

Dash Wood is a Reentry and Employment Specialist with a strong passion for mentoring and coaching others through career transitions. He brings experience in case management, community navigation, and delivering person-centered employment services that help individuals move forward with clarity and confidence.
Dash is known for his approachable style and ability to break down complex processes—like resume writing and job applications—into manageable, practical steps. He creates supportive learning environments where participants feel comfortable asking questions, trying new tools, and building momentum toward employment.
When he’s not working, Dash enjoys spending time with his family and relaxing by the river, fishing.
